I remember this game as a kid!! Me and the fam are huge life long Habs fans and even my mom was pissed at Lyle for doing this .. nevertheless, adda boy Lyle ;)

i dont know about that,,but he was a great defensive fighter,,and like mcsorley,,and great second half fighter. he was a terrible puncher,,but he won most of the time with smarts and good defense..rarely got hit.

I remember watching this fight live on tv as a kid.
the morning after everybody was talking about it in the school yard. haha great memory, but still it was an ugly cheap shot.
