@DjChoci but his rep was not as strong as Graham Park and Winston Hazel. You guys was on serious catch up even though a few of the djs were getting into it, we had clubs 1000 plus strong. Please read, "last night a dj saved my life" you will learn a thing or two. Especially London was more into rare groove at that period in time.

sorry londoners get the facts right. Manchester (hacienda) Leeds (kaos) and Sheffield (Jive Turkey) were the FIRST championing house music in the UK. Whilst we was bustin these joints, you guys were still on JACK THE GROOVE and still working things out. You was into the rare groove flex. 1985-86 FACT.
When I went to London to see Jazzy M and Chris Forbes flex they did not even know VIRGO. However you guys did take it to the next level in 1988 summer of love. ACID lol,
