  • THANK YOU, IMYURS2. YEP, MY DADDY WAS BORN 2 MONTHS TO THE DAY, AFTER KITTY WELLS WAS BORN. HE WAS 36 WHEN HE DIED IN 1956, AND I WAS 10. SHE CAME TO OUR TOWN TO SING IN THE EARLY 50'S. SO MANY MEMORIES .......

  • I am looking for a specific record of hers from the 40's or early 50's, one side is "Heavens Radio" and the other side is "Don't Sell Daddy Any More Whiskey". If anyone has it please post it or contact me at srshirlmiss4@gmail.com

  • OH man what a classic. AWESOME! I LOVE TANYA AND EMMY LOU, ETC. BUT THE OLD TIMERS AS WE KNOW DIDN'T HAVE ALL THE FANCY ELECTRONIC BACKGROUND AND HI- Q AMPLIFIERS, SOUND MIX ETC. LIKE THE NEWER GANG. IT WAS JUST PURE GOD GIVEN TALENT.
