The seven songs Becker and Fagan offered us in that year are as much a part of my consciousness as my drivers license, or my left hand. I scarcely imagine life without them.

I found this video, then opened iTunes. For the fifth time in my life I'm going to pay full retail for the Aja.

I thought so then, and I still think Deacon Blues is how the best of me should exist-
