Before Nirvana, STP, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam...there was the Cult. They helped fuel the death knell of American hair metal (it doesn't deserve to be called glam rock). They deserve our thanks and appreciation.

Loved The Cult since early eighties but not sure the lyrics were the main driver or whatever. He is a miserable bastard.

Love Removal Machine. I named my Panhead chopper after that tune because that machine cost me a few girlfriends. The Cult is king tone!

This band is the coolest ever. The cult did what they wanted. They didn't care about the look. The lyrics were what drove them the whole time. I totally understand what he is saying in this interview because that was what The Cult was about in the early days. Spiritwalker is one of the greatest songs ever next to She sellls. I will always appreciate this band.
