Sport Recife Keeper Delivers Kung-Fu Kick To Back Of Opponent's Neck.

It almost appeared as though that fatality would occur during a match between Vasco da Gama and Sport Recife at the BH Cup U-19 tournament in Brazil on Monday. It was then that Sport Recife goalkeeper Gustavo delivered a vicious kung-fu kick to the back of Elivelton's neck, dropping the Vasco de Gama player to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

Thankfully, he would be OK and only had to go to the hospital for observation.

The punishment for Gustavo was swift -- he was cut from the team even before leaving the stadium and the military police are investigating the attack

@benjie414 Soccer players wear studded shoes, which hurt like a bitch. Football players wear tons of pads and are tackled to the ground (full body contact), which hurts a lot less than a flying strike (pin pointed). You ever watch MMA? Notice how they kick and punch to hurt people, not just tackle. Furthermore it's the back of the neck, which is arguably the worst part to get hit in because it tends to be a bit close to a thing called your brain stem.
