The Royal Botanical Gardens at Kew just outside central London is one of the oldest and most respected botanical gardens in the world. The United Nations has declared 2010 the year of biodiversity, and Kew Gardens is at the forefront of science exploring how plants can help with climate change, medical cures and other modern problems. Jennifer Glasse got a rare behind-the-scenes look at Kew.
