...TheReasonWhyGuy does kind of have a point. I mean, I could understand being butthurt about mario not being on other systems, but nowadays games REALLY need individuality. Aside from homing fireballs, and subtle sex appeal, I'm not seeing anything particularly special here.

@TheReasonWhyGuy Indeed the first half of Level 1 is heavily inspired by SMB1 - but just to get interesting "pathetic" comments from people, who generalize a whole game by playing it for about not more than 30 seconds ;)

@kaifroland ah... lol... either way, I honestly don't care that nintendo didn't port the game, since it's theirs to do with as they wished.

@TheReasonWhyGuy The original Giana Sisters was made as kind of a "protest" against Nintendo for not porting Mario to other systems. They ripped of SMB and didn't even try to hide it in any way, and that's one of the reasons this game became so legendary. That. and the music. The title tune is regarded as one of the best for C64 ever. :)
