Every day. We make a difference. Thousands of us coming together in senior living communities across the country each day to make a difference in the lives of seniors we serve. The difference? Smiles and laughter. Hugs and praise. Encouragement and assistance. Dignity and respect.

The senior living profession stretches far and wide. Caregivers join with handymen; nurses partner with chefs. Managers, office coordinators and sales people collaborate. Together, they form a community. A community both literally and philosophically brought together by values and beliefs embracing freedom of choice, independence, dignity, respect and quality of life for seniors and their families.

As an activity professional, this song really hits home- and WE DO MAKE THE DIFFERENCE. Our seniors are so appreciative and accepting. this is the unconditional love we need to spread around.

@ahaddock38 you know i could go on all day to why i posted that comment but unfortunately theres a limit to how much i could put on each comment, but sir or ma'am i genuinely apologize if i offended you with my words i am sure there are many people in this industry that have the best intentions. but please do not think i do not enjoy what i do i love what i do its a huge part of my life. if youd like to get to know me better check out the videos for the alfa heroes of 2010. im one of them.

This is unfortunate that you have this view and that your experience has been negative. However,I find it unfair for you to characterize everyone who works with seniors in this light. You can't possibly know all of us. I feel sad for you that you aren't experiencing the joy in what you do and that you feel so negatively about it. Personally, I love it! I could make more money elsewhere, but this is where my heart is. I think your experience is more the exception than the rule.
