May 2009 - Failed launch

This was the third flight of my "Horizon 54", flying on an I285-Redline with a medium delay. I'm still not sure why, but the motor delay lasted less than 2 seconds (rather than the expected 10 or 12) resulting in a premature deployment of the chute. I ended up with a rocket that was slightly damaged, but will certainly fly again. (Sorry for the crappy camera work, it was hard to keep it on target while I was trying to visually track several objects in the sky at the same time.)
