"Zeh Hayom Asah" (2:45)

Fourth Grade students at the Rashi School in Dedham, Masssachusetts, designed and animated this hand-drawn educational short, a message of peace which celebrates the words of Psalm 118, "Zeh Hayom Asah," or, "This is the Day Made by God."
Pell Osborn of MotionArt Studios, Boston, supervised the LineStorm Animation Creative Learning Project and Josh Conescu was the lead teacher. The project involved 38 students during a total of six class periods. The animation originates entirely on flipbooks, and streams at a rate of ten drawings for every second of screen time. Rashi students, at the school's Opening Ceremonies, perform the lively music, written by Jeff Klepper.
