This video will take you for a while into the journey which I made in 2011. It reveals the beauty of such places as Georgian Caucasus, Persian deserts and Turkish rivieras, but not only...

Last summer I spent three wonderful months on travelling in Georgia, Iran and Turkey; during this trip I met hundreds of really amazing people, and although the video does not show my social adventures, I assure you that the people in those three countries are amazingly lovely: friendly, helpful, caring, hospitable, with HUGE hearts!! And, here I would like to say big "thank you" to all of them I have met (though probably few of them will read it..)

My only means of transport was autostop (hitchhiking), I just packed my stuff and left my flat in Poland, immediately hitting the road; on my way to the East and back I crossed such countries as Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Serbia, Macedonia, Romania and Bulgaria.
Since I don't have a regular job, people often ask me how I can manage to get enough money for such long and complex trip, well, my answer is: "the more money you have, the more difficult travelling becomes" (for me travelling is a completely different thing from "touristing"). And so, my budget is never too big - at least if I become a target of robbers, I have nothing to lose ;))

This video is just the tip of the iceberg of the trip, and it concentrates on the natural sceneries; also, I am not always ready with the camera to record what I see...
Hope the video can make you feel a hint of the hitchhiking spirit; and if you haven't tried it out yet, hope you'll get inspired... Remember, that if there was no 'autostop', i would never go to these places.

I was trying to keep the quality as good as possible, but my skills and equipment are not good enough, so I apologize for the pixels.

I am from Tehran. What I am interested to know is if you were alone or with some of your friends? Did you share expenses? How did you rent cars? One driver in each country?! I am still pretty amazed by how you managed your expenses! 3 months being on the road requires hell lot of money :D Did you like Iran? How did you see the country in general? I suggest you to go to Kish Island. Qeshm does not have much to see.

  • Looks and sounds like an incredible experience! Wonderful!
