I think the accident was caused by shitty maintenance on that TIP trailer - there are over 10,000 rental 'sheds' on the road that are poorly maintained due to the customers wanting cheaper and cheaper rental rates. Somethings have to be comprimised on for the rental companies to survive. Only this week Hill Hire has sold out to Ryder for £154m after posting looses of £60m year on year.
