  • Great video, man. Thanks for sharing. Helps out newbie turkey hunters like me.

  • @XeroJaeger glad I could help...enjoy the spring woods

  • Man this video demo is awesome!

  • @bmiranda2645 thanks

  • Good video for a beginner. You need to clear up the front of your yelp but that's just my opinion I'm no pro. Didn't you call at Harrisburg this year?

  • @PArackaholic i agree, i was just beginning to get serious about my calling when i made this video...I've since learned how to start a little farther back on the call to hit the bottom reeds giving me a cleaner front end on my yelp. & yes i did call at harrisburg this year

  • Stuck that bad boy in my mouth and called my wife from the other room. That hen showed up in ten seconds flat with a sandwich. Well done, sir.

  • Extremely well done, thanks !!

  • N for cutting just speed it up i like to start slow then cut my last sound off with speed n ull catch on.for purring/ fighting purr way i learned from a old timer is place the call in ur mouth normal apply slight pressure n do the motor boat lmao but it works n ull get good.also use single reed calls to begin it helps alot 2 reeds n up r harder hope it helps.best i can say is keep at it ull get it

  • MBJB07 if u look on the back of most call packets they come in tells u key words to use have u tried tht?also wht i did to start was actually say words with ur throat.like say the word but dnt produce the sound if tht makes sense.like keeee...say it like the word key..another 1 is pop..another one i was taught is chick.its hard to explain but not to brag or anything but it helped me n turned me into a awesome caller.it will click in eventually.but no hen sounds the same so remm tht..

  • Thanks, this helped me start using a mouth call! Now I'm just waiting til' spring to get some results!

  • Great video! Thank you very much. I've been using box and slate calls but they're more difficult hunting by yourself. Can't wait to get this down and get out there this spring!

  • I've been trying for 3 years to learn to use a mouth call, and I've tried every mouth call on the market. I can make the basic "beginner" yelp, but it doesn't sound realistic. I really want to learn this but after 3 years I'm about ready to throw in the towel. Any ideas?

  • I just started turkey hunting and barely missed my first bird. This video really helps me understand how to get better at my calls so I can hopefully get them in closer. Thanks.

  • awesome vid
