  • Powerful video, brought tears to my eyes. The collage of decades was a true picture of women's struggles. I just published the historical fiction, She Built Ships During WWII and was pleased to see one of the photo's that I put in my novel of the women riveting. We've come a long way baby but still have a ways to go!

  • This is beautiful - you have inspired me to continue in our own fight to keep a legal contract for flight attendants at Delta Air Lines this year.

  • What an amazing video and song!! As a woman, its easy to forget how hard women before me fought for the freedom and rights I have today. We tend to take it for granted, refusing to participate in the rights that women before us were beaten and tormented to give to us (such as voting). Thank you so much for reminding me.

  • Respect all people through the teachings of our mothers. Thanks to all women who labor still for a better life for all families.

  • Excellent stuff-we need to get thgis in our schools!

  • Both the vocals and the pictures are very moving. Well done. Hope to see more.

  • Bev, I have shared your songs from recording, and now I can share this video, too. Hugs, your union sister. Susan

  • I find it extremely hurtful that someone would malign my name by lying in such a heinous fashion. Please know this video is a culmination of the struggles faced by all women through the decades and I am so happy so many find it inspirational.

  • "You in the unions do not yet represent all of labor. But I hope some day you will, because I believe that it is through strength, through the fact that people who know what people need are working to make this country a better place for all people, that we will help the world to accept our leadership and understand that, under our form of government and through our way of life, we have something to offer them"

    - Eleanor Roosevelt, ACWA Convention, 1956

  • "In our glorious fight for civil rights, we must guard against being fooled by false slogans, as 'right-to-work.' It provides no 'rights' and no 'works.' Its purpose is to destroy labor unions and the freedom of collective bargaining... We demand this fraud be stopped." - Martin Luther King Jr.
