  • the fact you read fox news proves your stupidity right there, you have no professional degree in physics nor does the idiot that wrote that article and ur going to look like the biggest dumb-ass when they prove the higgs-boson particle

  • @Iarabbro Well at least you, unlike all of these other clown

know hat they haven't detected jack shit.

A year from now I'll be proven right.

My job is easy - All I have to do, i it... & wait.... :D

your negative review didn't follow the actual stated thought in the article that you are reading.

1> talking money (3.5 billions Euros), Cost is not the same as worth. spending over XX B€ doesn't mean it is worth that (although it might probably worth more than that).

2> i expected you to show us some analysis of the value of other scientific discoveries. tell me How much was the discovery of the electron worth? as we all know we used Electricity even...............

  • before maxwell and faraday

help us understood it, so how much was just the (EXISTING) electron itself worth? How much was the discovery of some other element worth?

if they didn't find it doesn't mean that they lost their money on (SMOKE) , because at that time they will be already answering the question which is does the standard model's higgs boson exist Y/N, so they will not

    come out empty handed

i really don't want to have that ''No'' as an answer because we will..............

  • What an idiot, so much of what this clown states is registering 9.9 on my bs scale. I don't want to ramble on about everything this guy has said, but black holes do exist. There's a massive one, I don't know, something like the mass of 4 million of our suns at the center of the milky way. Scientists see massive stars orbiting this black hole at crazy speeds. What does this guy think the stars are orbiting, gods fat fucking head?

  • im pretty sure i read an article a few months ago saying that theyve caught glimpses of it,not enough for science to claim it as fact yet but they know its there

  • The zenoeffect guy is a proper scientist .He has Phd,s in truth and truthology from Christian tec.Now now before his all knowingness.

  • @Iarabbro Even if they don't prove it, TheZenoEffect is a delusional liar who won't become a scientist. He won't even pass the entrance exam. He denies all that is science and logical and accepts--and asserts that god did it by magic, or that his ideas are right-- EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY.

    :D

  • @TheZenoEffect You are not a scientist, nor do you know anything about particle physics. You're completely wrong and haven't given any weight to why anyone should believe you.

We can prove the theory of the big bang but you clearly are willingly ignorant of science. In conclusion, you're an asshole of society.

  • THEY DIDN'T MAKE THE LHC FOR 1 REASON. Are you retarded?

  • @TheZenoEffect The electromagnetic force is stronger than gravity. That's undisputed. However, on the planetary, solar, galactic, and intergalactic scale, it is almost non-existant compared to gravity.

One theory about the relative weakness of gravity is that the particle responsible for the force (whether the Higgs boson itself, or the yet to be discovered gravitron) interacts at a higher energy level/ a different dimension, so what we feel in out universe is only a portion of the true force

  • @Ephidel88 That's the problem - The SM is critically flawed in

assuming assuming that gravity is the most predominant (though

the weakest) force in the Universe, which is not true.

Electro-magnetism is more predominant by many, many

    magnitudes. Plasma Cosmology/Electric Universe theory

understands this - Plasma, the 4th state of matter that

    SM does not even recognize.

  • @TheZenoEffect So you would rather society be limited by incorrect physics? I don't know if there's a Higgs Boson or not, but if scientists have a chance to prove the standard model to be correct, or flawed, they should take it. Whatever the result, it is the best thing for society to know the answer.

If it exists, then the particle, as well as the Higgs field can, in time, be studied, and perhaps used

If not, then the theory can eventually be corrected, and science gets on the right track

  • Ignorance and scientific illiteracy at its finest. You, sir, deserve a medal.
