This show rescued to Joker. Before this show, the Joker was a fairly obscure villain who hadn't been seen much since the pre-code days.

Also Jack Nicholson was a terrible Joker. He didn't play the Joker...he played Jack Nicholson in make-up.

I totally respect Romero, awesome actor. I think his Joker fits well with the time frame and I don't think it's really right for me to go "Yeah, Jacks Better, Ledger's better, Hammil's better", each joker interpretation reflects the times. Personally, if I had to rank the top 3, it would be Ledger at number 1, Hammil at number 2 and Romero at number 3.

THE JOKER FUCKIN SURFIN??? WTH?? The Joker is evil as fuck and the only emotion this cause him is fun... To me is even worse than Ledger's because his Joker looked little depressed, but is the best by far.

To me Cesar Romero made THE best Joker. Jack Nicholson to me was too violent, Heath Ledger was too gothic AND too violent. Cesar Romero had the best sense of humor.

Just my own two "sense."
