@disneydra I've seen fantasmic! since the 90s and Ariel's tail has always been a costume, the only mechanical fin ariel has had was the one form Disney Hollywood Stuidos show of Voyage of the little mermaid.
@DanSinclair, I think that used 2 be the rules, but I think they have changed Ariel's tail from a mechanic tail 2 an actual costume so she can now move it freely.
I was under the impression that due to Equity contract provisions, the actors on the barges such as Ariel could not flip her tail more than 90 degrees and no lifts were allowed, like the Prince lifting Snow White. Any changes on that? And also, the prince from Snow White had no hat...
