I have owned several Boss Gt units , GT 5 , 6 , 8 etc , i now have the GT3 and i think it sounds the best of all the GT units , it may not have all the bells & whistles , but i'm not a huge effect user , but it just seems to sound and feel warmer and more realistic to my ears ........

@Siah2000 wow. i have heard that the 8 was very hard to work. i recently bought the gt-10. there is a co. that sales instruction videos on how to work them. along with other roland/boss eq. i've purchased 3 dvd's and 1 that was a set on how to record them. below is their website. check them out on youtube. they only work by ordering through their website

@believin13 @believin13 Yeah, I was majorly bummed out. I tweaked the living crap out of it and ended up turning off the preamp off the GT-8 and only use it's effects, and using my Peavey 6505+'s distortion instead. If I was looking into amp modeling, I would look into AXE FX Ultra.
