I own a 2009 Jetta TDI. It is quite simply the finest car Ive ever owned. It's well appointed and super solid, fast as hell and quiet. On a 9 state tour right after I bought it I was getting into the high 50s in milage on the highway. I have 2 sets of wheels for it.

Totally agree. Too bad with politics, and mis-education diesel isn't has popular. That's why the Prius doesn't sell well in Europe, they know better. But Sheeple in the U.S. got sucked into the Toyota marketing blitz. Don't get me wrong, its good to be progressing and cool technology, but for now I'll stick with the diesel that has a more engaging drive and torque to boot, also not a turd like the Prius. Plus there are plenty of Prii, change it up a bit.
