This video will demonstrate how to create a website using free templates for oswd.org (Open Source Web Design) and the Kompozer web page editing software.
In summary, I
select and preview designs
download one that I like
extract the archive
open the index.html file with Kompozer
edit the parts necessary (title, menus, etc)
create separate pages
test
What if I make a change to my template. Can it be applied to all the pages in your web page?

@ajlara79
Unfortunately, no. Kompozer has a templating system, but I never used it. Look into using PHP to add content to the template.

@ComputerSupport4You
Thanks for your reply. NVU was a project
sponsored by Linspire. They abandoned the project.
Kompozer was the work of some others to frix bugs and improve the project.
So in essence, Kompozer is the latest version of NVU.
Kompozer is available for windows and linux systems

I've been using Linux for web development since 2005. It took a while, but I weened myself off Dreamweaver and haven't looked back.
