The Adventures of Sean and Mike.

So here is part two to our trip to Fairbanks, Alaska in the middle of winter. Starts off with us driving to go dog sledding. It was like we were just driving out in the middle of nowhere cause the road seemed non existent. I added music to the dog sledding video because of all the wind noise. Then we went to go see Santa Clause at the North Pole, Alaska. I really had no idea such a place really existed. Crazy all the street lights and poles were candy canes. That was cool. Santa was on vacation since it was just after Christmas and all. We got in his chair and took a couple of photos. Then off to Skiland which is the northern most ski resort in the world. So yea we are more of sun and beach guys than snow and skiing. Green trails are bout all we can do. Well our green trail turned into a black diamond trail and we had to get down. It was scary looking at it. We couldnt see the bottom from the top. So we made it down the best we could. The only way we could stop was to fall down, which meant whip outs! It took us forever to get down that trail ha ha. Then a couple of bloopers. Finally some photos of the northern lights. Now I know why there arent too many videos of them on youtube. They are almost impossible to film. We had a blast. It was so cold in Fairbanks thou, and we looked forwarded to getting home to warm Texas. Not so warm when we got back. It was worst in terms of ice in Dallas. It was one of those freak days that Dallas had an ice/snow storm. My car was complete frozen and it took us half an hour to unfreeze the doors and windshield.

  • How was the skiing?

  • @ilovefriedclams It was great. Fairbanks has prefect power snow. The air is so dry you can't make snow balls or snowman. So when you ski is just soft power snow. It doesn't stick to you skies and stuff like that. I love it. Whistler has heavy wet snow and that sucks.

  • LOL that was awesome! Thanks for sharing your vids.

  • @squawk7777 Thanks for the comment!!! I'm glad you like them!

nice wipe outs lol, the skiland parts are classic :D

the northern lights are just plain beautiful to see in person and they never get old to see

    another 5 star vid :)
