Yosef goes to Phipps Store

Yosef, one of the 4 mascots in the E.Y.E.S. on the World Mascot Journey project sits in on a jam session at the Phipps Store on Silas Creek, Ashe County, North Carolina. The store has been in the Phipps family for four generations. The E.Y.E.S. on the World project is a high school technology project. The students have 4 mascots: Einstein, Yosef, Edison and Shockley. The students sent Einstein, Edison and Shockley out into the world to visit famous structures. Yosef remains behind with the students documenting the culture of the Appalachian Mountains.
