Game: Fatal Frame/Project Zero
Song: Sally's Song (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Artist: Fiona Apple

I don't really know what to say about this one. I did it because I like this song. It revolves around Mafuyu and his three now very dead co-workers.

  • Fatal Frame 5. That is all.

  • @TheGhostsBand ...and that has to with WHAT in my video?

  • shoudl have used amys version

  • @3BsAlaska I've now been told this enough that I'm going to respond in hopes people would stop saying it. Amy's version is fine, but I prefer Fiona Apple's version. Mostly because Amy's doesn't have the right tone to match this video specifically. Please everyone, stop telling me I should have used the other one, because I'm NOT changing it, I like THIS one.

  • If anyone could tell me what Fatal Frame is about that would be great because I have no clue

  • @purplesugar12 It's a Japanese survival horror video game series.

  • I don't like the original, the voice annoys me and the style doesn't seem to fit well the lyrics. it somehow seems... attention seeking?.

Amy's is nice but, while her voice is beautiful, I don't think it's quite right for this song; it almost sounds as if she's just whining.

This version, on the other hand, is dark and suitably gloomy. Far from making the song boring, I feel that the lack of change shows just how far into depression the subject has sunk.

Am I reading too much into this? =P

  • he smells like bun

  • I like both Amy Lees version and Fionas version for different reason! They arent mutually exclusive, you can enjoy both!

  • I like Amy Lee a lot, but I have to admit, I think this version is better. Amy's version would be perfect for the movie, but when I hear Fiona sing this, I think of a french whore dressed in fishnet stockings and short skirt standing by a lamp post on a dank, foggy night on some remote rue of paris pining over someone that will never have her, knowing her fate will always be never more than a loveless whore the rest of her days.

  • Would people stop fighting over who was better, Amy or Fiona? Seriously, who gives a damn!? Both are amazing artists and both performed this song in amazing, different ways. Fiona's is depressing, eery, and beautiful. Amy's is mystical, pain filled, and beautiful. BOTH VERSIONS ARE AMAZING!

Does it really matter if someone prefers one over the other? To me, Fiona comes to an extremely close second, nearly a tie. Others may disagree. Honestly, no one should care. Both are great.

  • @beastgirlsara lol good for you! i like this version too, i do like amys version, it makes it very spooky, but i like this one because of her voice, its different, amys voice sounds more like sallys voice, this one doesnt, but i get two different images with the two voices, with amys, i get an imagination of a graveyard, or something from the film, but with this i imagine some all night coffee shop and a girl leaning by a lamplight lol

  • ♥ now i got to go play Fatal Frame...lol...love the vid :D

  • @beastgirlsara i too prefer fiona apple's. i love amy lee, but this seems more fitting for sally's song <3

  • Amy Lee's voice irritates the fuck out of me. Fionna's is best..outside of the original.

  • i like both versions! :D but I think you made the right choice choosing this version for this paticular video ;)

lee is amazing and i love her way more then apple but her version of the song doesn't really match the presence for this video. Her version is more elegent and soft haunting which would match for when your doing something thats creepy yet soft and engaging but apple has more of a dark chill to the song which would match for something horror like simulair to this!

  • amy lee's version is infanintly better but your video is good
