yea the beats are a ripoff, they're alright but not standard quality and definitely not recommended for studio monitoring. dre marketed the shit out of those though, and i bet he made a killer profit. i'm working with the ath-m50's right now they've been doing me justice but i'd like to venture out into other products. gonna make the k240 mk2 purchase right now to get my self an xmas present. thanks for the reply, happy holidays

@larry89 They are GREAT, an amp would help because the volume is kind of low on it's own but still good enough, I haven't gotten a chance to mix with them yet but once I get my new setup it's goin down haha but yeah I havent had too many headphones but they're the best ones Ive ever had, and WAY BETTER than those Beats by Dr. Dre.
