  • I've watched the whole video now.

You deviated from the original, sure, but what you played was all good stuff (except for a bum note at 3:57 and a major off-track incident at 6:03, plus the occasional other dodgy moment).

You play well enough that I'd gladly fork out my hard-earned to watch you play somewhere. Thanks for posting these videos on YouTube.

I would say he plays it with heart... something Page would appreciate but he plays it a lot differently than Page. A good example of someone who plays it "the exact way Page plays it on the record" is Jun626's video of the studio version of this song. Great job though man this is fucking sweet!

  • nice, but it's not the actual page i'm looking for... how is it that you do the distorted intro? everything else UP TO THAT point is pretty okay for me right now

  • nice playin man! The tracks a bit slower than it should be though, Timing is everything with shit like this! Too fast it sounds wrong, too slow and it loses the feeling, very well played though grats

  • speed up a little bit

  • Nice Job!!!

  • From 1:16 to 1:20, the notes are F#, C, F#, D, C (bend quickly from C to D and then relax back to C), F, C, F, D, C (same as before). What you're playing seems to clash, and is also more complicated to play. For the above, I'd just use 1st and 2nd fingers for the 1st bit, and 1st and 3rd fingers for the next bit. A piece of piss!

I haven't progressed much past that bit so far, but you have a great tone. Still not much pinky action!

  • sounds great!
