HappyWandy457, how come that these profesionals in the USA wonder why these kids play Schostakovich or Mahler in such a way? If you watch their background where they come from, there is apparently no hope to this performance. But considering Human Hope to fulfilment in life and that this is not a nightmare, as the result shows, there is a future to grasp to anyone: Masters and Disciples - music humanises both, each of them are learning from the other, there is no gap towards respect.
