@FlyBoy7X7 right. there are copies of Chopin's Students where Chopin had written in a Flat for the E as well. hmmmmmmmm! :)

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered a copy of the compact disc. In my opinion, Pogorelich's rendition stands out head and shoulders above so many of the heavy-handed stumbling and doomy recordings available. A piece like this should be like a comforting blanket of darkness, not a bleak cloud of impending doom, gloom and foreboding. Pogorelich's rendition is so subtle and so restrained, just perfection!
