This is my second rap video I did after doing my first for the Glenn Beck, Arguing With Idiots contest seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygQJZwpszjY

I decided to write this one about the effect that being in the contest has had in that I feel WAY more inspired to be active and do more to work for my beliefs. I also cannot believe how many amazing and creative friends I have made in this process!

I am a Libertarian with a capital "L" and I firmly believe in freedom and liberty in it's truest sense. Thanks for checking out my video!

This all started out as a contest,
I did a dumb rap about Arguing With Idiots.
Now I'm making new friends every day,
And I'm blown away by my YouTube plays.
Not long ago I was the type who'd sit back,
I'd watch things with no intent to act.
But now I'm doing songs with a drum beat track
And I'm not alone, there are more in fact.

Seems everybody's coming out of the woodwork,
They're hearing voices that they can't believe they never heard.
They're forming up across the country with their megaphones
Telling the Government our money isn't there's it's our own.

It's all across the nation,
More and more see the situation.
So we talk talk talk on our AM stations.
And the government fools push inflation,
And we are happy that our movement has grown,
And all of us are telling everyone that we are not alone.

We're not alone,
We will make our voices known.
We're not alone,
And as our numbers grow our strength is shown.

It's not about Obama,
Or the Democrats and all their drama.
The Republicans are causing just as much trauma
It's the powers that be that make us wanna...
Throw them all out and start from scratch
Let the people take the power back
Like so many I've decided to act
For me it's doing these silly raps
I, like many, have lefty friends,
Who disagree with me on the means and the ends.
So I've held back all my dissidence
And not said my thoughts for fear to offend.
Most people look out for their fellow man,
But is this forced morality what the founders planned?
We all watch the news and take what we can.
But this bias in the media is more than we can stand.

The sources of our info changed from the mainstream folks
We're getting tired of seeing our efforts made into a joke.
I'm watching reason.tv way more than CNN
And never miss a Red Eye episode at 3AM.

This is my second rap I've written about these changing times,
And I'll do more because I like spitting political rhymes.
Some will be goofy but you'll get the point I'm trying to make,
Everyone who feels like me do something for our country's sake.
