Quite amazing. I've never seen anything like this. It seems like there was an honesty and openness to reality that was permitted then to some degree, much different to our present day. Of course such "freaks" as these would either be able to be cured of their abnormalities or never be all owed to come to term.

fascinating. the film is called "freaks". it portrays the deformed people as honest and descent who are preyed on by so called normal people. tod browning, who was at the time a successful producer-director was basically black listed after doing this film. audiences at the time were appalled, and the movie got banned. the film now of course is revered and considered a significant work.
