  • The aeolus wheels cost more than the bikes, each wheel is like 1300 bucks. Im buying a 3.1 and i would LOVE to have those wheels.

  • @tameemz90 Those wheels are about 800 bucks each. If you watch for sales on these wheels, you can get them at 1300 bucks for both.

  • @Janson540123 i'm with ya on that one, the 2012 color schemes look like walmart bike compared to the sinister flat/matte paint schemes of 2011.

  • go ride.

  • @Janson540123 i agree, no offense Trek, but whoever designed the lion's share of 2012 bike paint jobs needs to be reprimanded. I had to drive 2hrs away to another city to find a 2011 madone 4.5, just bc i didn't like any of the 2012 madones in my price range. will post vids of all my Treks soon. 4300, 7.3fx, 7.2fx, & 4.5Madone

  • @tennisstar5231 Well not exactly. The Tour de France wasn't the only race he excelled in. He has won the UCI Road World Championship, La Flèche Wallonne, Grand Prix Eddy Merckx, Tour de Suisse, Critérium du Dauphiné, Tour de Georgia, Leadville Trail 100 Mountain Bike Race, U.S. Pro Championship, he was ranked No. 1 cyclist in 1996 and was an Olympian.

  • @tennisstar5231 I think what makes his story unique is that he came back from cancer. That in itself is a feat.

  • @Jossher700

The best tour rider that ever lived. That's it, he only focused on the tour. There are a lot better riders.

  • @tennisstar5231 He's one of the greatest but I think Eddie Merckx is the better rider.

  • @tennisstar5231 If its not about the bike then try winning the tour on a Huffy.

  • @Jossher700

He also said it's not about the bike. You're probably those people who think he is the greatest cyclist of all time too.

  • @tennisstar5231 There was an American riding a Trek who won this little race called the Tour de France 7 times. If that's not a real bike, I don't know what it is.
