Pisses me off, specially when the guy is an eloquent person like that who can properly argue his position. You don't have to agree with the guy, but let him fucking talk.

@bookworm3583 If Hitler strolled onto stage and people booed do you think that would be acceptable? If so, maybe the fact that you don't know who Nigel farage is means you can't really suggest weather or not people should boo. To many people in britain UKIP is very much like the BMP which is, in many people's opinion not a kick in the arse away from being much like the KKK

Mitchell for Prime Minister

jimmy carr = super mario lol

I've heard all kinds about UKIP and not being english its only a line or two at a time about how they are rasist etc. What he said makes sence. But due to a combination of democracy levels and there is that emotional element David was talking about. As I will never vote for him I don't need a massive list about why he is so bad but anyone have any actual details?
-
@bookworm3583 Of course I don't, because obviously booing is not an attempt to prevent someone from expressing their opinion, it is rather a mere expression of disagreement with said opinion. You on the other hand wrote that the audience should *shut up* and enjoy the free tickets. In other words - you would like to STOP them from expressing their disagreement. Better go book one.

@wladwlad The point I was trying to make is that I DO respect freedom of expression--for everyone, even people with unsavory opinions. Everyone has the right to have their views heard, especially when they've been invited on a show for the express purpose of voicing those beliefs. The audience members who were booing weren't expressing an opinion, they were trying to STOP someone else. If you're on their side, I think, based on your logic, you've got a plane ticket to Pyongyang to book. :)
-
@bookworm3583 You are an American, yet hate free expression of opinion. Perhaps North Korea would suit your views a lot more, ever thought about moving?
-
The people booing were right, but only partially Farage deserves a lot more, booing him off is more like a compliment. Nobody had a shoe, custard cake or something?!
-
OOOOOHHHH DEAR BERLUSCONI.
I hate it when the audience gets all high-and-mighty and boos like that. I'm American so I don't even know who this Nigel Farage guy is, but I think that's just a crappy way to act. He's obviously been invited on the show, so just sit in your free seat and shut up!

@gloomyoutlook "voice an opinion?"
Here' my opinion: Nobody should have to be subjected to any opinion that can be adequately expressed simply as a panto-noise.
