Track taken from the cd Sixties Down Under Vol 4,Pastoral Symphony was a group made up of The Twilights,Johnny hawker and vocals by Terry Walker,It was released in 1968 and was a hit across Australia,They only released the one single as far as i know.
If anyone objects to the music or images in my videos please let me know and i will remove them.

  • I remembered this song from when it was on the top 40, decades ago. I remembered the lyrics in places but had no idea of who perfomed it, then it was posted here, a lost classic found!! Thank you. (I have since purchased a couple of 60's downunder discs. Thanks again)

  • Is there any decent-sounding version of this single's b-side, "Spread a Little Love Around", floating on the internet? It's a soft-pop masterpiece with slight touch of psych. Sadly all I have of it is terrible-sounding rip...

  • hi all, I was given a record back in the early 70s by a DJ called Rick Melbourn from 2QN radio station. At Hay NSW swimming pool. It had 4 songs on it and this Love Machine song on it. Y eh still got until now still in its original cover.

  • Just like 60sfanatic only ever heard this song once and it was also on Radio Hauraki. In those days Hauraki played alot of kiwi and Aussie music.So good to hear it again, thanks.
