Video promo for charity download single to raise funds for Haiti earthquake appeal. You can help by going to

http://www.justgiving.com/BeTheAnswer

and making a donation in return for which you will receive in our 'thank you' email a link to download the mp3 of the single (as long as you remember to leave us your email address)

We may not have Simon Cowell's big budget or phonebook full of houselhold names, but with that head start he only beat us by a few hours in releasing his choice of a seemingly inappropriate cover song about suicide (for people who want to live?)

We wrote this one! ... No covers here! We being in this instant; Rob Pember and John Perkins, and recorded it with a wondergul group of like minded singers and musicians, featuring Fiona Laycock as lead vocalist, Robin Welch (soprano sax) Rob and John who, as well as singing back up, played most of the instruments between them, also Paul Laycock and Gill Paget-Davis added their voices to the backing vocals.

John was struck by a newscast from USA he saw on the night following the quake and describes it in the second verse as follows:

'yet out of the crumbling ruin
we hear voices crying Hallelujah
from people who have nothing left
but for the air they breath, yeh'.

Having seen how our chosen charity (Medecins Sans Frontieres) were so fast getting into the fallen ruins of Haiti's capital, compared with US, UN and others who parked themselves at the airport, we feel sure you will agree that giving to government agencies merely ends up with the needed help being delayed in red tape as in this case at Haiti's airport. Seeing troops pointing guns in the direction of already devastated people also does nothing to bolster opinions of a 'would be' one world government.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is the leading non-governmental organisation for emergency medical aid. It is dedicated to providing expert medical relief to victims of war, disasters and epidemics in 80 countries around the world, giving help to those who need it most, regardless of ethnic origin, religion or political affiliation.

So, you can be the answer to their problems even in some small way .... every little helps. Thank you in advance for sharing in this endeavour.
