This is the demo sketch that is included with the TVout Library for AVR/arduino.
It is completely interrupt driven allowing user code to be run without having to worry about generating the composite signal.
video is 128x96 pixels.

  • I think this is genius. Does it require any additional hardware other than an arduino microcontroller? I have heard of the tellyshield addon, but it seems you have figured it out without using that if I am reading code correctly. Its just a simple RCA tap with resistors correct?

  • @jcbrownproductions yes its just 2 diodes and 2 resistors connected to an rca connector. I have had people tell me that the diodes are not needed and actually cause problems.

  • @jcbrownproductions Yes, but tellymate draws much much faster :D

  • @mdmetzle thank you for the info, I will be tinkering with this library for adding video output to a fancy EMF detector prop I built for a local ghost hunting show here in Austin. The work is appreciated.
