@safi456 Almond butter is not normally sweet. I added dates to give it a little sweetness. It really depends on what you like, but I'd say 1 cup of almonds to 1 or 2 dates. I soak dates in warm water until they are re-hydrated. Hope this helps?

very good, I made it last night before watching this. I soaked the almonds first for 48 hours and instead of coconut butter, I added water. It didn't turn out very good.

@ellie3637 Sorry it didn't turn out well for you. Try it next time without adding anything, since you soaked your almonds, water is already present in the almonds. Take care!

@safi456 Until they are softened. Warm water would speed up the soak time.
