I agree. Who needs special effects when you have quality acting like this? Julie Anderws and Christopher Plummer are an inspiration.

I gotta hand it to those two; not only were are they phenomenal actors, but they sing, dance AND play musical instruments quite well. How many actors can stand up to that in todays entertainment industry?

I said it before on another video post..will say again...their scene in the gazebo in sound of music is one of the most romantic scenes in hollywood history. The only other I think might match it is John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara getting caught in the rain in the quiet man.
