I don't know what i did to get myself blocked but i was asking you some questions to find out more about making ethonal and to see if it was even worth the money to buy a still and i guess now i'm going to have to take my questions and buisness elsewhere. I've never been blocked before and i was kinda set back when you did it but better now then after i gave you a bunch of money. WTF & Let the buyers beware.

@GlassByThaddeus stainless steel, copper, and ptfe material for gaskets, are the ONLY things you want in a still, and ONLY use silver solder, no lead for certain, or anything with lead, such as brass, etc etc etc anything else is potentialy harmful, leeches in, etc etc.. at least if you're gona drink it anyhow..
sure dont wana drink anything with silicon in it either..

This video could have been condensed to about 4 minutes. I agree with trtlnvr - no point in polishing the outside of the copper.
-
the real problem is that the shine doesnt touch the outside of the colum it runs up the inside so you can polish the outside as much as you want but it doesnt efect the end product. your just wasting time. This guy doesnt know what he is doing. I grew up in the mountains of Wv and shine is a way of life we have done it the same way for hundreds of years and make the best liquor in the world

The compounds I use will burn through the gelcoat of a boat. A little tarnish will be easy to buff out. Trust me!

@RainierDistillers Why in your opinion does the copper perform better than the stainless of the same type (scouring pad design or mesh sheets)? Is it because of the thermal properties?
-
@RainierDistillers Idon`t think ya need wax do you .
wow! how tall is that column after it's assembled?

Why not just buff the copper. You'll be done in minutes.
To weld copper or brass to stainless you use silicone bronze welding wire. I couldn't watch any further because if I heard you say uhm one more time I would've ran a rusty nail in my ear

vinegar will do the same job without sanding

@MrMrtiki GREAT TRUE, yes. I put in a bath of citric acid I neutralize in bicarb soda and then if needs sanding I do that. Then I buff with wheel with compound wax
