Dia duit Sean - thanks for your post of President Obama speaking a cúpla focal. I'm Irish-Scots-Irish for the most part; and I know that my great-great-great grandfather on my father was a monoglot Irish speaker. The Irish Diaspora brought him to the U.S. No one in my family has ever returned to Ireland on either my mom or dad's side. I'm planning a holiday next year. I am teaching myself Gaelic to reconnect with my Insular Celtic ancestry. Tír gan teanga, tír gan anam. Slan! Lee
