  • Native Americans had been using cochineal for a dye color and as a medicine for thousands of years before synthetic dyes and medicines were invented - which btw are ALL derived from either coal tar or petroleum by-products

  • En España se está usando para alimentación (E-120 o carmín) para dar un rojo "alegre". Carne picada industrial , chorizo , salchichón ,salami ,yogures, petiti suis y helados sabor fresa , bitter sin , etc . Será natural pero es asqueroso pensar en ello ¿No podrian usar remolacha u otra cosa?

    In Spain it's being used as artificial color for food . Strawberry ice cream, yogourt , industrial minced meat and many products.... disgusting. I avoid all that stuff.
