Me playing a sonata for flute and harpsichord by J.S. Bach (BWV 1020). Unfortunately it's got a very low sound level (I have no clue why...) so you'll have to turn up the volume, sorry for the inconvenience^^

  • I am working on this piece. It's beautiful. Work on your vibrato usage. Don't shake your vibrato. Be careful of dynamics as well. You did well! Tip: in baroque music vibrato was used only to add color to a certain phrase. I want to hear this again but even better. I know you can do it man. You have the potential to do it. And when ending on a baroque piece it is always DEAD TONE.

Overall little things but crucial to the piece, nice job. Very well executed. I liked it. You're going places.

However, I don't understand, what do you mean with "dead tone"?

  • Nice job! thanks for posting!

  • @Flutesrock8900 I appreciate your kind words! What I mean by dead tone is no vibrato. Just pracitce this Sonata that way and you'll see what I'm talking about.
