  • I am now particularly partial to the Cardigans, and they come in the red and sable colors, like the Pembrokes. Now that they are 3 (Tiger) and 4 (Prada), I have to say they seem to be the perfect dogs for our home. I am retired, and spend most of my days with these two. No person I know could ever make me laugh as much, or love so unconditionally as these two Cardigans. Had I gotten Pembrokes, I would probably feel the same... now I will take a nap with them. PERFECT!

  • I love the smaller one going for the tail (or butt) of the bigger one. Our Cardigans do the same thing. I love the merle coloring.

  • At this time, these two are almost exactly the same weight, but that kind of play happens even more frequently. My red brindle Tiger will be two in January, and I hope he never outgrows his desire to play. Prada, the two year old blue merle, pretends to be upset by his antics, but she still deliberately starts some of the play action. The comedy routines these two perform are numerous and SO FUNNY!

  • Given that I have 2 teenage boys, there's many days thatMaple is my favorite family member! She is disillusioned with the snow today because we got freezing rain on top of it and all the dogs are unhappy because it's so hard for them to get around.

  • I can identify with that. My youngest of two sons is 33 and my stepdaughter is 36. I've been there on the teenage issues. I must say, the dogs are better behaved and more accommodating. I always thought I wanted Cardigans as family members... and YouTube videos absolutely convinced me that these dogs were the way to go.

  • Too cute - hope my 6 year old corgi will be that mellow with a new puppy

  • These two, since these videos, have been through their spay and neutering operations, and they are still are doing the same things you see here. I was expecting some lowering of activities, but they act as if all hormonal sources are still fully functional. Honestly, I'm tickled they still have the same old fire in them. By the way, the blue merle (Prada) will be 2 on May 22, and the red brindle (Tiger) will be a year on January 2. They're still my favorite family members.
