CRT LL tests the Thor Shield and TASER X26

Members of CRT Less Lethal tested the viability of the Thor Shield material (integrated into a ballistic vest) in eliminating the effects from a TASER X26 on three subjects.

Thanks for the input. Agreed on all of your points. There are garments such as BDU''s and gloves that have the thorshield material integrated. The video is on our website

@passadonut Yes. The material, however, is only available for military and law enforcement. We are testing more products that we will post soon. CRTLL

I know its sick but people experiencing taser pain is utterly hilarious. I prefer to see large minority women who are giving our proud officers crap getting tazed since they are much more....expressive? Anyway, kudos to the test subjects for going through this. I sure as hell wouldn't do it.

@CRTLESSLETHAL Wait a minute. This seems good and all but hypothetically speaking if tasers became common on the street just like knifes and guns, how is this a good defense for our Officers? Granted you are supposed to aim at the center mass but if somebody just happened to aim lower and get 1 probe below the vest the person is still out. Can't something be made that grounds the person? I don't think a vest is the way to go.
