I have never seen shading done like this! This is amazing man! Kudos! I wish i had a bad ass laptop or desktop so i can have all these programs. I always wanted to get into creating monsters and stuff by drawing them. Like Final Fantasy creatures.

this is the first time ive seen someone use different colors to coordinate shading and what not...is it really helpful?

@aznbank congrats on figuring out what i was doing with those colors. everybody else has asked me what I was doing. It does help for me; I use a very dark color first and then add light to it, instead of starting with a light color and adding shadows. it's easier to visualize dimension, at least for me.
