Agreed. Symphonia was great, but the characterization in this game was unbelievable. Especially when I think of the Character quests and the final ending. So emotionally packed. What I didn't like about the game was the random battles, the 2d battle plane, and the generic dungeons. For those reasons i preferred the gameplay of Symphony, but I think Legendia would make a fantastic anime. Best characters and story by far

@JoshuasFlowCool yeah, that's great! But I'm just a kid with measly pocket money...If only there was like a sudden boost or something and I'm really hating school, a bit confusing for the school part as I'm English lol.

@Gilmoreboy2007 the part where shinra is trying to get the huge materia from the underwater reactor a junon. you are about to get to the submarine where they loaded it onto, but reno sends a boss at you. i hav been stuck on that boss for MONTHS!!! (not exaggerating) it keeps on killing me!!!! *cries TT_TT its called 'carry armor' i believe.

@xWindtearx finally nearly beaten Tales of Legendia, so I just thought I'd fill you on, there is plenty of romance in it, the romance actually plays an important part of the story

@xWindtearx sorry I can't be more of help, its been probably 2-3 years through since I've played the game, I only just started playing through it again and I'm on chapter 2

@xWindtearx hmmmm, well there is subtlties of it, I actually only cleared the main storyline and didn't get to clear the bonus storylines or whatever. After you beat the game, you go through some stuff for each character(amongst other things), for example, Norma is a treasure hunter, and in her post-game storyline, she pursues what she came looking for on the Legacy. I always thought that Chloe liked Senel since she gets jealous of Norma's flirting

@Lukefonfabre9 really? I thought that the PS2 version was only in japanese. same with vesperia, the PS3 version is only in japanese. (oh and thank you for the description earlier, that was nice.) P.S. Is there any romance in Legendia, or at least two characters that like each other? (like luke and tear in abyss?) I like love stories in videogames. XD

@xWindtearx oh yeah, I should probably say that the first Tales of Symphonia is actually for ps2 as well, so you should be able to try it

@xWindtearx the Legacy is a giant ship from an ancient civilization, nobody really knows anything about it even the basics like how it moves, etc., but there was somebody called the Merines, or Shining One who is able to control the ship with their will. Shirley is thought to be a descendant of the Merines and is then captured because of it. I find it kinda funny how the majority of the game is you on a HUGEEEEEE ship, anyways, I hope this helps a little.
