@MadGeordie - I know very little about cars but i know that being able to find stock parts that would match the mini - is far more complex than combining a Benz and a few Japanese cars.
I would assume that you can just custom made many parts that would fit your idea, its a bit more work, and design work, and calculations and such. But I always thought taking Dodge Magnum Station Wagon and turning it into a El Camino by cropping our the back seat+trunk and making an open bed.

I like the overall idea - i'm not a fan of the inconsistency in the wheels size and design and the back looks too square comparing to the front that is a bit more round.

Horrid looking mini. Looks like it belongs in america, where they have no class.
Stupid shit like the extra exhaust hole in the rear panel, why would you not get that filled before painting the body?
The section sitting up from the tray looks disgusting from the rear (the part with the row of holes) and ruins any badass look you were going for. The boxy rear does not go with the front of the mini, and with it going to the ground, noone can see the big tyres. The wheels look really bad too.
