Hope I can always access this great video which evokes similar feelings as the endless summer movies. No straps, harnesses, falling in the water, feeling the wind in your sail, hiking out....awesome. Interesting comments below--it seems all great inventions have many contributors. It's all good......

July 1976 I was on a Cape Cod beach and a friend of me comes down with a THE Windsurfer. There were some moments during the learning phase but it is 2010, summer is coming and for sure I will windsurf again. Thank you Hoyle !

Long board windsurfing is not a drag, it's one of many different ways to experience windsurfing.
