spike lee is an intellectual and an educator but even he has too learn humility and not focus his energy on dictating what another artist does. No one benefits from promoting dissent and provoking division. A person can like the work of both, either or neither at their discretion. Not every character is a stereotype of an entire people. Somethings are just more compelling to some people and not others. People have bad impressions of those that give bad impressions.

You cannot call Spike Lee a hater because he shares his opinion. Let's be real, people pay to see Black people act stupid and crazy. And we wonder why people have such a bad impression of who we are as a person. Certain things I do not watch and my white friends ask me about it and I have no idea what they're talking about. To them, all black people should act the way Madea or Brown behaves.
