Learn how to map Triple-Macro Hotkeys with Traktor. In this video Native Instruments DJ Product Specialist and Dubspot Instructor DJ Endo takes you through the steps on how to customize your keyboard mapping and map multiple commands to a single key. Endo demonstrates this by creating a MIDI/HotKey command (map/Mapping Triple Micro HotKeys) which allows you to "do three things in one action," just by pushing a key! This enables you to jump to the first cue point, play and enable sync all with a single key press. Was this helpful to you? Do you have questions? Leave us a comment below!

  • @donbonification of course if u wanted to do a tutorial on modifier keys in traktor i wouldnt complain haha.....

  • @DeeJayEndo Sorry i didnt explain myself correctly. I meant say i have a two deck mixer but wanna mix four tracks - the ability to have a secondary mapping where if the 'mod' button is pressed, say the volume fader will work for deck C instead of deck A.(only while its pressed) I actually found some tutorials eventually on the use of modifier Keys in traktor, but theres nothing great and its still pretty confusing.... but thanks for responding, your tutorials have helped me quite a bit

  • @donbonification yes thats exactly what this tutorial shows. You can assign as many commands to a key, knob or fader that you would like. This is a great way to speed up your workflow.

  • amazing

  • @donbonification 'cue button is pressed'....

  • Is their a way/tutorial somewhere to apply secondary functions to keys? i.e. normally say i have a knob that controls fx1. But what if i dont have enough knobs and need it for multiple funcitons? i.e. If that knob for fx1 is used at say the same time as a cue but is pressed it controls a different fx - say fx3?

  • @marleycarroll You're welcome. Enjoy! - Endo

  • @bergy4lyfe If you're in NYC come by dubspot and I'll help you map your APC. Just shoot an e-mail to endo AT dubspot DOT COM and let me know when your in NYC and I'll set it up.

  • @stefancoco It works exactly the same as in this video except you would just map the button to hotcue 2 instead of one and select which deck your controlling as well in the controller manager

  • @gian0pa yes this works the same in the new Traktor - Endo
