@richjapo - if anything this sketch is in favour of what you describe as the 'PC Left Wing' - David Brent, who has been established as a colossal tosser by this point, makes a fool out of himself first by making a mistake that implies he has trouble telling members of ethnic minorities apart, then compounds the situation by accidentally admitting as much. Many Pakistanis probably WOULD find this funny, because the joke's about ignorant people.

@TheTreherne There's a hidden agenda but I'd guess our positions are way different. I feel the agenda is to flood the nation with a tsunami of immigrants to destroy unions, undermine socialism and end nationalist ideals.

Not that I'm a nationalist, in any traditional sense, but it's clear to see what's happening with the EU and migration, I think. It's globalist capitalism, spearheaded by the banking and corporate elite, that's the agenda.

@z0mgrugbyreturns I understand completely what you mean, i'd be a fool if I didn't. The point that i'm trying to make is that from my experience racism is one way.

The question I would ask is do you think that we live in a fair society where all nationality's are taken into account? I must admit I feel their is a hidden agenda in the country of Britain where immigrants and people of ethnic origin are looked more favourablely on.

@TheTreherne It shouldn't be more acceptable to racially abuse white people, I can't do anything about it. Pretty sure people in England don't use the word honky, though.

As for pakistanis calling themselves paki and africans using nigga, I've got no issue with that. It's completely different because of the context.

If you as a white man called me a honky or a white bastard I'd have no problem. If a non-white person said it I'd take it as insult. You see the difference, surely?

Also one more point that shows the hyprocrocy of these words is that Asian people or Black people will refer to people of the same ethnicity as themselves as paki or nigger. It seems that only the white man can be seen as racist.

@TheTreherne Because the abbreviations for other nationalities hasn't been used for the purpose of out and out racism, almost exclusively. I've never heard a white pakistani man referred to as a paki by the sort of people in Britain who use the word. No, because when they see it they're referring to the ethnicity, not the nationality.

And if someone called me a honky I'd put one on their chin.

@z0mgrugbyreturns so then why can other cultures have abreviated names for their nationality and not take it in a racist way? you say about racist connations but that really doesn't stand up especially when a white man can be called a honky and thats seen as no big deal but if the term nigger or paki is used it's racist. Why is that acceptable? why is this country so politically correct that it is a joke? utterly ridiculous.
